Default Car lifts for your Garage?

Guys, I'm thinking about saving room in my Garage and need some advice on Car Lifts, I have the 69 Yenko I guess weighs around 3500 lbs? and a 2010 Camaro 3900 lbs.

I would like to get a lift that I can drive the 69 on and lift up secure and store it and drive the 2010 under! and when I have the 69 out I would like to put the 2010 on top! So the lift will always have a car on it. My wife has a Chevy Tahoe that is approx 6000 lbs and I would want to occasionaly out it up to change oil etc. but it would never be there for more than an hour or two... The 69 would be there 99.9 of the time.

I know there are several companys that offer lifts and I have seen horror storys about calapses...etc. I just thought I would get any feedback from Car guys that use and own these lifts before I decide on what brand to go with!

Any experience thoughts suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

with addition bracing for storage you should be fine with any setup, just make sure you either upgrade of get the best hoses and fittings because your hydrolic lines are whats gunna fail and drop the car, so literally like a hose ripping or fitting blowing off

The car should never be stored with the hydraulic lines as the point of support. All lifts I have ever used have a manual latching system. You must have a pretty tall garage! My office is in Katy and I live in southwest Houston. We need to hook up to share the rides and swap lies!

Where do you live? Do you go to the West Houston Muscle Shows at 59 dinner?

What kind of car do you have?

I live in Braeburn Valley. I have not been to the West Houston deal but one of my subs lives out there and tries to get me to go all the time. It's a Friday night gig? I have a 69 Camaro. You can see it posted in my garage. Let me know when you are going to the west houston night and I will try to make it.
