Default BB Manifolds vs Power Steering Box

I am new to this forum. Recently purchased a 1967 Camaro and am doing some work on the car. It's factory small block engine was replaced with a 396 Chevy BB motor by a previous owner. This car had factory power steering which was disconnected prior to my purchase, I assume because of the aftermarket headers. I tried installing factory repro exhaust manifolds, but the drivers side does not fit because of the ps gear box. In looking at other posts I found reference to Chevy using a different motor mount position for BB engines. Any other ideas for a way to put factory manifolds back on and keep/make the power steering box functional? Did Chevy make a shorter steering column to allow the steering box to be placed closer to the firewall?

You will need to install the big block frame mounts. These mounts move the engine over to the right to allow clearance for just the issue your are having.

You also need BB motor mounts if you use BB frame mounts. You can't just change one half of the mounts.
