So these are the numbers i found on my axle and diff: GM59, 3894859NF, and PA0311G1. What i have gotten from google is that its a 10 bolt and it has 3.08 gears. Any more info would be nice if you have it.

Also, are these gears going to be good for me? It has a 400sbc and a muncie tranny (i believe).

I plan on doing most driving around town, prob with some highway too, no plans for drag racing or anything like that. I'm just not to keen on what gears i should get or keep these ones.
