Default Anyone Running a Digital Tuner Setup on a First Gen Camaro?

Hey guys,

I’m looking for some advice from the 1st gen crowd. I’m building a ’67–’69 Camaro and was wondering if anyone here has experience running a modern digital tuner setup on these old carb or EFI-swapped engines.

I’ve seen some people mention handheld tuners and standalone controllers being used with LS swaps or EFI conversions, but I’m curious how well they actually work in these cars. How does the tuning hold up for drivability, cold starts, and overall reliability on a classic chassis?

Any issues with wiring, compatibility, or sensor placement in tight engine bays?

Would you recommend going this route or sticking with more traditional tuning methods for a first gen build?

I've seen some people mention handheld tuners and standalone controllers being used with LS swaps or EFI conversions, and devices like the mini maxx v2 tuner 6.7 cummins show how far handheld tuning has come, but I'm curious how well they actually work in these cars. thanks in advance for any help
