Another Camaro Update
Well guys, here is some good news and some bad news.
I took the car to the track the other week and ran an 11.36 @ 117 on just motor, I was happy. Hooked up the nitrous and had it set for 150.
Ran the car, got a 10.43 @ 125.....YeeHaw!
Motor dropped a valve 3/4 way down the track, got towed back to the pits and found #5 plug was smashed. Got it home, started tearing it down and found the #5 exhaust valve laying in the cylinder. The top of the piston was history and the cylinder was cracked.
Just like the old saying goes, here today, gone tomorrow....except mine was gone in the same day...LOL
Next inline, we're going to do a simple 427 build.....simple...hee..hee..
