just flat black picked up stainless steel hose today the hei is really close to the firewall hope thats not a issue later ??

 

Motor looks good! I like the black color.

I still think someone put the wrong mounts in your car and that is why the cap is close to the firewall.

On mine, I can get to all the tranny bolts with no problems and also have plenty of room with the distributor cap.

Just remember if you ever have to drop the tranny to either take off the cap or pull the distributor out if your worried it's going to hit.

 

I painted mine black too but it doesnt look as good as what youve got goin. I like that finish.

thanks guys the color ended up looking better then i hoped and i hope the motor mounts/distributor will not be a issue later was going to work on the motor today but its 100 here maybe this weekend
