Smile 69 Incoming

Bought a "Z/28" 1969
Not sure that it is a "Real" Z/28 or not. Engine is a Newer 454
My 64 & 68 Corvette are Numbers Matching, so 1st Non-Original Engine Car for me
Places to Research Validating, Looking Up VIN, etc are Welcome.
Thought I was an Owner of a 1968 Convertible a number of Months Back, but that Deal Fell Thru.

Some Pics cause every thread is better with Pics

Of the 1st gens, "Z28" is the most cloned car. It would of had a 302 C.I. engine originally.

This site will have 411. You can check #'s of trans and rearend, etc.

Welcome to CF,great looking car with the RS package even, the big block conversion looks nicely done.
I had a plane '69 and swapped in a 427 big block when I was a youngster,my roomate had a Z28 (real one from original owner, this was in the 1970s)
I drove his car quite a bit because he liked to party more than drive. lol
The 302 was a high revving little beast,no low end grunt but when you spun it up it to 6000 rpms made good power.
I liked the big block in mine a lot better, mash the pedal at any rpm above about 2000 (lumpy solid lifter cam) and hang on!

And 4 wheel disc brakes was another rare option.
I've seen only one car a '69 with the dual Holleys on a cross ram intake and 4 wheel discs.
