Trying to locate a transmission tunnel reinforcement plate which is only on the convertable. It looks like it is similar to the transmission crossmember but it is further back the tunnel towards the rear. This was for adding rigidity to the chassis because of no hard top roof. If anyone has a convertable and can verify this piece, it would be greatly appreciated. I believe mine is missing!!!!!!

 

REAL69Z11. My 67 convertible has the reinforcement plate as do all 1st gen. convertibles far as I know, anyway mine is out, I'll take a look at it in the next day or so and get back with you, but it doesn't look like a mount, it is a square shaped plate maybe 16" with bolt holes at the corners and is sculpted (not flat) a little. I've seen them advertised at some of the 1st gen. merchants. hipirn
