Default 69 Camaro and Torque Thrust D Wheel Width

Want to replace my 14" factory steel wheels with 15". What size would be best of these three: 6, 7 or 8 inch width? I don't want the tires sticking out past the fender lip. I have drum brakes also. Pictures would be helpful.

Thanks much.

Actually, I thought the factory 14" wheels were 6" wide.
I'd go 8" in the back, and 6" in front.
9" is pushing it, 10" looks like mine.
