Default 69 Camaro Fuel Pressure Slowly Drops

Hi guys. I have replaced the entire fuel system in my 69 camaro with a 350 sb. New tank, pickup (removed the sock), 3/8" fuel line, new hoses, new Edelbrock performer fuel pump and new fuel filter. The engine runs great and has 6 psi fuel pressure at cold startup. As it warms up, the fuel pressure slowly drops off and reads zero when fully warmed up. The engine runs and I have been through the lines and hoses again.

This has me stumped. Do the 69 camaros with 3/8 inch line have a problem with vapor lock or pulling fuel? The fuel pump pushrod felt like it worked smoothly but can the pushrod get hydrolocked with oil or some other mysterious problem?

Thanks for your help.

The pushrod runs directly off the cam so.....no that's not possible.

why don't you have a sock on it? the sock keeps the end of the pick up tube from sticking to the tank...making it where it can't pick up fuel because it's sucking metal.

Default Air in the Fuel

I teed in a clear hose and ran the car for about 15 minutes to see if the fuel line needed bled.. Lot's of air in the fuel so I think there must be a crack letting air in. I am going to go through the new fuel line and hope I find it there. Hopefully it's not a crack or bad solder joint in the "new" GM fuel pickup assembly in the tank....
