Default 69 camaro with front disc is wearing out rear shoes on a regular basis in short time

If you hotrod around, brakes will go faster and cheep breaks will too, so not sure on the brand of brakes. I'm not a wiz at this, but might need new drums in the back if they are original and should resurface the rotors with new pads. Think about new rotors to if there old. Please, someone else chime in if I'm wrong.

Sounds like the front brakes aren't pulling their weight. Was your car originally equipped with front disc brakes? If not and yours were converted, was it changed over to the proper disc/drum master cylinder? They are different.
