Have a 69 Camaro than I'm just getting ready to replace the shroud. According to the Assembly manual......there is a LH and RH bracket at the bottom of the radiator. According to all the aftermarket Chevrolet parts places.....only the Right Hand bracket available. Not sure why this is.....the one person at Eckler's I spoke to, said he thought that the Left Hand one was attached to the radiator from the factory and as of yet, not reproduced. Anyone else have this problem?? I've ordered the new shroud and the RH bracket as I have neither at the moment, only a home made bracket for the left side was the only thing holding it on at the moment. Would like to make it correct, but it looks next to impossible at the moment......

 

Yes, the drivers side bracket is part of the radiator, attached right above the petcock. You must not have a "factory correct" radiator, so you'll have to improvise. Or, find a trashed original radiator and have a radiator shop attach the bracket to yours. Or, buy an original style radiator that has the bracket.
