Default 68 Turn signal?

Having a heck of a time with the turn signals in my 68. Every light in the car works, the hazzards even flash. No turn signals though. I changed the signal flasher (the one on the right side of the steering colum) I checked signal switch unit in the colum, I even unplugged the colum harness and plugged it into another colum, same thing hazzards worked no signals. I know the hazzards are on a different flasher but at least I know all the lights work and flash.
I finally checked the power in the turn signal flasher plug and there is no power. All of the fuses are good with the exception of the little short one at the bottom of the fuse panel. No power at all to that fuse. Does anyone know what that little one is for?
Thanks
Scott

If you look closely, just to the left of the "little" fuse, there is a tab that you can install a female spade connector. The tab is protected by the little fuse and it has 12 volts on it ONLY whne your headlights are on.

Try turning on your headlights and measure the voltage on the fuse or the tab and you will see +12 volts.

The bad news is that it does not answer your original question about the turn signals....:-(

Just cheked the wiring diagram. The pink wire on the flasher comes directly from the fuse box. That pink wire should have +12v when key is in either Ign or Acc. If no +12 volts..on the pink wire side of the flasher under these conditions....maybe there is a break in the pink wire....? Or one of the fuses is not making proper contact.
