Good morning and happy Saturday! I've got all new sheet metal mocked up on the rear of my 68. The new quarters, deck lid filler and rear panel all fit well together but my left and right trunk gaps are about 3/8" on both sides. I feel I can motivate them a bit to tighten them up a but I wanted to confirm what the widest part of the trunk is supposed to measure first. It's a replacement truck lid so before I go fighting these quarter panels I would really appreciate it if someone with an original trunk lid could give me the measurement of the widest portion of the trunk lid, Then I could verify if my issue is with the trunk lid or if it's time to pull these suckers together a bit.
