Default '69 trunk lid adjustment

Hey everyone, new here although I've been reading the threads for about a year. Registration has been a SOB here for some reason or I would have posted earlier.
I've got a 69 camaro and the rear trunk lid is higher on the passengers side. I've tried readjusting the latch, putting a shim in the passengers side hinge arm but both didn't do anthing to help. Didn't adjust the rods under the decklid, would this help?

Those rods are for adjusting tension to hold the trunk lid up.
Is your lid high near the hinge, near the tail panel/rear quarter, or both?

On the passenger side overall, slightly towards the front and more so at the back (most noticable when viewing car from rear).
