68 Camaro Cooling Issue

68 Camaro Cooling Issue
After 2 years fo work I am finally driving the car a lot and my only real issue is I am running pretty warm.
Normal driving even when hot outside I am averaging 185 on the highway and closer to 205 driving city stop and go. With real heavy stop and go it creeps up even further.
I did a parade recently that wasn't moving and I even overheated.
My setup is a cheap 3 core radiator with 2 fans from EBAY during the resto and it is not cutting it.
I know I need a shroud at the minimum and probably a pusher fan. Unfortunately the radiator I bought online does not have a matched shrowd.
I have a 350 manual transmission and vintage air.
Any suggestions on how to proceed as I want to fix this issue once and for all.

I agree with Y2K. I bought electric fans and a shroud to match my radiator. first time I took it out I made it 6-7 miles the temp went to 235
brought it home junked the fans and shroud, went with a derale 6 blade heavy duty stainless flex fan and stock shroud. I also added a top and bottom filler panel. had it out last weekend going up a 9% grade for 8 miles with the ambient temperature at 90*.
the engine got to almost 180*
just my 2 cents

I don’t know your situations but I have fixed a lot of overheating cars just by installing a shroud. Electric fans don’t not move a bunch of CFM so it is important that the air that is flowing is in the right direction.
Overheating at idle or near idle can be a symptom of a miss adjusted idle circuit or too much base timing. I would make sure everything is right before adding larger cooling system or more fans.
