67 door hinge pins ???
I'm in the process of rebuilding the hinges on my 67 'Bird. I ordered a kit from NPD but am not happy with it. The 67 kit also fits 70-81 and they said to "trim" my pins to fit. I noticed other kits have e-clips to lock down the bottom of the pin which these do not. So I went to Ricks to order a set and they list 67-69 as all the same. But other catalogs list 67 different from 68/9. So what's the real scoop on hinge pins for my 67??? who has the best kit and should it come with clips to lock the bottom of the pin???
Just to close this out. I ended up getting a set from Rick's/Eckler's. Right length, no cutting, no clips even though the pins had cuts in them for e-clips. Fit well. Nice to have good solid hinges and detent rollers on the doors again.
I was watching this to see what kind of good information I could get from it.
Does it concern you that the clips are not on them?
I would have to look at mine again but I don't remember there being any clips on the bottom.

No it doesn't bother me that much. One tip I read was to put some perm loc-tite on the swedges to help hold the pin in place. Also for the top hinges. Since on a 67 they fit either side. Make sure both pins go down from top to bottom on each hinge as an extra percaution.
