327 Engine code
T = Tonawanda engine plant. 1010 = 10th month & 10th day assembly date (Oct.10). EE code was used on the 65 & 68 327, and the 69 350. You'll want to look up the casting number and casting date on the bellhousing flange to determine which block and year it is.

There's only one EE code for each of those 3 different years, so yes once you find the casting year, you'll know what you have. Also, some 327's and 350's shared the same block, some were more specific. So sometimes the casting number and the suffix code is all you need.
I have a EE 327 in my 67 camaro and was told it came out of a 67 chevelle. I told the previous owner it couldn't have because of the Chevy/Camaro engine suffix codes page. He told me he did the exchange himself. I then apolgized because of further research. CHEVY Mania!

They aren't, they cover the whole Chevy line. They're not very model specific at all, in and of themselves.
