1st gens are very common in the NJ shore area, thats why i feel so special to have my 2nd gen bc i stand out from the rest, i have only seem one other 2nd gen camaro in my years of driving around and heading to local car shows, although the real big thing around here are Novas, i see them everywhere

I live in a rural area on NJ. I have 3 first gens, 2 are really cars the other is a car in waiting. There are only 5 houses within sight of my house, to get a perspective on density. It is, however, a high-income area. Within 7 miles of me, I have personel friends that own 7 first gen cars.

I have a 67 numbers matching RS/SS 350 conv in Calif, a co-worker has a 68 RS conv just around the corner. Only drive mine on weekends. In a year I maybe see 1 on the road (not including me). At the gas stations I usually get 2 or 3 people with their first gen stories come up and talk.

I've seen the same thing Gorn commented on here where I live. I'd been showing Corvettes for several years and saw just a handful of 1st gens from time to time but since I rolled mine out 3 years ago the trend seemed to change. Now I can't seem to go to a local show and not have a half dozen or more around me. In this little town I live in, there are at least 20+ within 15 miles from my house
