That badged 69 Z-28 is still worth a ton of money IMO 60 or 70 thousand with the right motor in it
If they could prove realness its around 150-200k on a good day IMO
Ask me how I know some this owning a 69 Boss 302 for years and years with the wrong (stock Windsor) motor in it
Finally found a correct enough motor for it a few years ago from a guy that had a car with 2 motors
He sold the car and sold me the spare rebuilt Boss engine with the screw in freeze plugs and the correct Boss Cleveland heads (not cheap)
Good luck to whoever gets this car
Mine is off to a good start now for a ton of money as I can prove mine with the G in the serial number and the vin stamped in the inner fender aprons
You need to be able to prove real
I believe the OP is long gone?
I beg to differ on that tach but agree on the springs
I have witnessed 69 Z-28s with a console and no 8 grand tach
I had a matching number 69 Z=28 with no tach at all and no console (best deal I ever made selling that car)
The car serial number is stamped in the block, around the oil filter on Camaros
Where did you see the photo or determine he had no 8 grand tach 69RSDZ302?
And what makes you say they all had 8 G tach's?
I saw your profile 69DZ302 (Days of 47) and you got me by 12 years, so, I am not discounting your knowledge and damn sure not your experience
Mine was real and sold from Streator Chevrolet in SLC. It had the option sheet and all the papers with the car when I sold it (no tach)
Why do you suppose the OP did not show the rear end? or the cooling fan and clutch?
Mine had a 7 blade IIRR with little kick outs on the ends of the fan blades
Do you actually have a DZ 302 69 RS? (that would sure be nice) Post a picture
Original Z/28 w/less then 50,000 miles Z with LQ1 about 600 hp
Here are 2 pictures more to fallow
This is the one I'm working on now it's a 69 RS Z28 it's in pretty fair condition just disassemble put them back together and I'm going to put a 2010 ZL1 auto wreck Camaro with a little over 2,000 miles on it. I think when I get done and beat my main driver. I'll paint it black that was the original color for it no stripes.
