Default 1969 Z28 with 396/TH350

I'm brand new to GM, so, please don't beat me up. I've been a big block Mopar guy my entire life and this is the first Chevy I've ever owned and will need your help as I complete this project.

I just got this '69 Z28 Camaro, at least I think it's a Z28...how do you determine what it is? I know it had a 30~something originally, but it now has a 396 motor and a TCI 350 transmission and 12-bolt 4.11 posi rear.

I have all the pieces to finish it.

How do I determine what it really is? Like for example, how do I know what the difference is between an RS/SS/Z28 if the emblems are missing?

Thanks for all your help guys!

Jim
