I have a 1969 Camaro dash panel that is in really good condition. Actually, it's probably in excellent condition. I'd like to spruce it up a bit, meaning that the paint probably needs to be refreshed on it. In addition, the chrome outline around the Astro vents and the stamped chrome words on the bottom of the dash need to be touched up. Is this something I can do easily? Or do I have to take it to someone that works specifically on dash panels? If I have to take it to someone, does anyone know of someone in Pennsylvania that does that type of work? I was thinking of trying to do this myself, but I'd hate to ruin a really nice dash panel that is original. I prefer to have it look like it was professionally done since it is original. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
