Default 1969 Camaro 350 with AC - No heat.

Hello all, my father in law just bought a project car it runs pretty good and is in pretty good condition as well just needs some TLC.

We starting fixing all the small things but the heat is driving us nutz. There is a vacuum line that seems to be not connected to anything. on the passanger side of the engine bay.

We have been looking for a vacuum diagram or something but cannot find anything. Can someone please help me out here?

Thanks!

An A/C car should have a valve on the passenger fender well in line with the heater hose. That valve should be connected to a vacuum line which opens and closes to keep coolant from circulating. The mysterious vacuum line may go there. Going by description it is hard to tell.

Yes there is, however the vacuum line is connected to that valve. So where does the other end go is what i am wondering. I can attach a pic if needed.
