Default 1968 z28 302

Hi, I have a friend that has a 1968 Z-28 302 in his barn and wanted some info on this car and a approximate value. His uncle bought it new and gave to him now he wants to sell or fix it up. But dont want to put alot of money in it if he cant get it back out. I can get you a vin if it helps but so far I know it is a Z28 with 302ci. Thanks for any info!

as far fetched as it sounds, there really needs to be alot more detail of what the car is as it sits, besides the vin number, options that were installed other than motor, how much is too much money to put into it, what stage of comepletion he wants to put it into and several other factors for any one to say with confidence what it COULD be worth. Somewhere between 6000. and 100,000 depending on above factors.

Heh,that's the truth, some had very rare option packages but if it's a true z28 and a matching numbers car it's probably worth a lot more than $6000.
It would have to be a complete rust bucket with a cracked block and almost nothing salvageable to be worth less.
Got any pictures? how much rust? did it run when parked?
Is it complete and still together or torn apart?
How's the interior,glass,body straight,etc.?

This should give you an idea of what they are worth restored.

Thanks for the help! it is partly disassembled and the motor is out but has been redone already. There is not much rust at all and all the interior is reusable. I have asked him to get me the vin and options so someone can give me an idea of what it will be worth. again thanks and I will keep you posted!
