Default 1968 Turn Signal/Backup Light problem

I installed the back up switch from the transmission and plugging in the wiring harness to the plug on the firewall. The switch worked, as did the lights, as I was playing with the switch on/off, it quite working. Additionally, my blinkers quit working. I have no power. All other lights work fine, but my car will not start. It acts like it is not get pwr. I checked the fuse at the panel under dash and it is fine. I am confused. Is there another fuse somewhere that ties the backup lights and the blinkers? Any help would be much appreciated.

check your violet and green wires are passing current. It is the neutral safety switch wires.. Make sure they flow current easy way to tell is to unplug the neutral safety switch and place a paper clip on the green and violet...
