well where I found the numbers was I typed in how many l30 m35 1968 Camaros were made. on google an came up with these 2 sites there were others too, wikipedia an thecamaro.com with Rpo combos I figured it was not rare ,but is was my first time reasearching the 1 gens ,I guess its not that hard to find out wich ones are rare an not, drop a 427 in it if its running good you can just drive it yes it seems the numbers were off from one site to another the v6 cars may have not been as documented at some sites then others ,there were so many option combos too, more then today

It was refereed to as the Poor mans SS and you basically got the 12 bolt rear for free. There was a few dealers that pushed its sale but most opted to push the 290hp/350 SS instead which is why it fairly rare. They are not supper rare cause I know where 3 of them are and there is one on this site that was converted to a SS clone.
?? L30 M35 is 327 275 hp with powerslide. I believe they were in the tens of thousands, not what I'd consider rare. L30/M20 is the poor man's SS.
