Default 1968 RS Correct Horn Bracket Mounting?

All,
I am getting down to the details on lengthy restoration on my 68 RS and could use your help. I cannot get the proper position of the horn brackect to align with where I thought they belong. I have the factory assembly manual however; the illustration in the book doesn't seem to match up. These are the original horns. I believe I am over-looking the obvious if you have a picture or a car you can take a digital picture of could you email it to me at danc76@aol.com. If it helps this is a small block car with a manual trans non a/c it has two AC Delco horns both a high & low tones.

Thanks

Did you get a response or any pictures?

I have an '68 RS with a small block (however mine has a Powerglide). I believe that my horns are oiriginal. I recently pulled the horns off for cleaning and re-installed them with no issues.
If you still need, I will snap a pic an post it tomorrow.

Vic,
I am still looking for the correct mounting position for the horns. If you could post a picture tomorrow that would be great.
Thanks
Dan

Here are some pics of the horns from my '68 RS. Image 3926 is the passanger side, 3928 the driver.

I am assuming that these have not been modified from the original setup...there is no evidence that they have...but if anyone thinks otherwise, please let us know.

Hope this is what you were after...

Cheers!!
Vic

These are the details I couldn't find with-in the service information thanks for including the part numbers & posting the pictures. Can't wait to get in the garage tomorrow evening & install the horns. I will post some follow-up info.
Thanks

Dan, I did not mean to mislead you...the numbers I gave you ARE NOT part numbers....sorry.. they are the picture numbers of the attached files.

I hope I didn't cause any unecessary work.

I will try to be clearer next time.

And I hope the pictures helped..at least.
