Thumbs up 1968 Decals

Hey from Australia
im wondering what the correct fender badges for a stock 68 2 door hard top 6 cylinder coupe would be.
my car has had a z28 badge put on it and it simply is not a z28.
It has a 454 in it and I want to take the z28 badge off and replace it with the correct badge/emblem.
Also if a Camaro
isn’t a true ss then what should the gas cap look like?
Help please

Sandi

I know the 6 cyl engine had the 250 badge on front fender. As for the gas cap, should be black with white 'SS' with the chrome ring. Some also had the anti-theft ring. Not sure if every SS had this gas cap, but was a standard item. There are some originals out there to buy.

Top picture is a standard 67-68 gas cap
If you had a 6 cylinder car, on the fender it just had the Camaro emblem, as shown in the picture.
Cheers....

Thanks Bruce... Looks like I miss read his question on the gas cap. As for the emblem, I think if you have the 230 there is no emblem, but if you have the 250, then there is...?

What's funny is, the above Camaro is a 250 cylinder, but like you mentioned, I found this:
