That car in the photo has a reveal molding. Could that (if factory) be on any body or just the RS and SS ? Also, no drip molding.

I had a question about the VIN, I thought in 1968 after the N the production started with a N300001? My Vin after the N is 437934

Yes, 68 VIN started at 300001. With a production run of 235,147 68's built, that would put the last 68 off the line having VIN 535147. Your car falls shortly after the half production year point. All is fine!

All I know for sure is mine was a factory v8 but nothing else matches after 45 years so who cares anyways lol, plus I love my SS badges!

No secrets on the 67, Cowl tag list all the option. 67 was the only Camaro year for the detailed cowl tag.

People are playing with the cowltags now to make car look original but if you can trace ownership back to the mid 90's you can be pretty sure its an original car.

I am all for keeping an all original car in it original condition. I know people put value in a car being an orignal SS or what ever but IMO its a Camaro, it did not become an SS untill someone put certain parts on it at the factory. You take those parts away its not an SS you put the parts on it is an SS. When they stamped the body and welded it together they had no idea if it was going to be a 250 or 396. No one was checking the build tag and saying "this is going to be a Big block add extra welds". We are all brain washed to want an original SS car.
