HI guys I am new to the forums and just logged on tonight, I am 20 years old and have a 68 camaro that my dad and I bought together as a father son project, we worked together on it a little, but he is very busy so I have been trying to do all of the restoration myself, I dont really know what I am doing but I am kind of trial and erroring it. I am really shooting for my deadline of all body and paint work done and a new complete interior in by mid Nov. Hopefully this goal is not unreachable, but I know I have a whole lot of work to go. I also think my car used to be an A/C car and possibly an SS because of the holes that looked like they were filled in on the fenders. How can I tell if it is an SS or what. What codes do I need to look at.. Do I look at tag on firewall or Vin #, I can also post my info so someone can decode it for me. Please help me.

RPO codes, on ur fire wall by ur master cylinder and ur vin numbers...u can check ur RPO's on line and decode ur vin on line as well, i had mine sent off to GM and they sent me all the info on the car, including the names of the orignal owners
