Default 1967 SS verification

Hello guys. new to this forum and looking for some help in a possible purchase. I found an alleged 1967 SS that has a 327 and rear spoiler which I think are incorrect for the year. I was provided this VIN Tag# 123377N1772367. Any opinions?

Thanks

if that VIN is correct, it originally a 6 cyl (3rd # in VIN is a 3=6cyl)

67SS came with 350 CI. 327 was the base V8 although the L30 4 brl version made 275 HP. The L30 version with a 4 speed was the poor man's SS and actually, to me, preferred.

Get a picture of the cowl tag and break it down on camaro.org site

no 67's had spoilers.

Is there any value to a 1967 Camaro in mint condition with a 327 even if its the wrong engine and spoiler? Car was listed at about 40K but can be had shipped for 25K. Company is Ed Wilson Classics in PA.
Having a hard time copying link.

Sure any 1st gen Camaro has value and plenty of it.
Clapped out basket case rust buckets are even going for thousands as long as there's a title.
$40K for a six banger cloned to an SS with a 327 not a 350 is pretty steep but $25K if it looks and runs good and isn't full of bondo isn't bad.
Make sure this deal isn't a scam, dropping the price that much and adding shipping is really suspicious.
I sure as hell wouldn't buy it sight unseen and undriven.

I tried to google them and got nothing, thinking it's a scam artist so be very careful.

Use a service like Lemons or another qualified appraiser. Consignment places like that one sadly are notorious for shady deals so absolutely verify the car.

Its no big deal a 6 cyl has been modified with a 327 or whatever badging for the right $. $25k is a good deal "if" the title and VIN match and the car is not covered in under coating masking rust and panels are not full of bondo.

If the asking was $40k but drop to $25k....something does not smell right

The link worked, here's a set of pics.
Car looks pretty nice but is obviously not a real SS.
Only two motors were available in an SS Camaro in 1967 the 350 and the 396 so even the 327 badge on the fender is wrong.
The 1967 350 is a rare motor these days,it was the first year for the 350 and it was only available that year in the Camaro and only in the SS Camaro.
Looks like new seat covers not done really well but other than that everything looks nice at least from what you can tell looking at pictures.
Maybe you can find out who did the resto work on it and check their reputation out.

pics do look nice. It looks to have a TH350 trans and 69 shifter. Not sure what rear end it is. It came with the 10 bolt mono leaf rear springs. It's an AC car or the dash was swapped to a AC dash. Someone spent sone $ on it. If the body is not all bondo under the paint, it would get about $40k here in CA

It would go for about 40k here too
Time for a trip to PA yourself and make the deal
The guy selling it might just be broke and needs money pronto
Hense the lower price
Ship it yourself after purchase
