Default 1967 dash instrument Panel

I pulled the dash instrument panel out to replace the gas gauge. Put the new gas gauge module in and re installed the panel. Now none of the panel lights come on including the blinkers. The generator light does come on.Thinking it might be a fuse, checked them and they all seem to be ok.

What could be?

Cluster ground strap above high beam indicator attached?
GEN light has its own power and return circuit.
Twist the bejesus out of the headlamp switch?
Other dash lights - heater controls - come on?
Fuse is after headlamp switch and before inst lamps.

I have a 67 RS/SS which only has the speed and Tach in the dash , my lamps will go out with the loosening of 1 of 2 screws that hold it together , ohhh the ground connections of these first generations

Don't be to hard on the engineers, at the time these came out they had 12 month/12,000 mile warranty and their expected life was 5 to 7 years.

Never be afraid to add grounds. I keep a bunch of jumper wires for ground testing proposes but permanently adding a strap or two in the dash can help long term.
