1967 camaro engine cast number

1967 camaro engine cast number

I recently purchased a 1967 small block with casting number 3892657. As I researched the number, it shows 3 choices: 302, 327 or 350. Is there a way to distinguish between the three?

On the top deck of the block, right in front of the passenger side head, there will be stamped the identifying codes for that block. (something like 327= FO114ME; 302=VO123MO; 350=VO223MS; WARRANTY BLOCK=CE12345).
Once you have those numbers, you can go to this web site to verify;
