Default Looking for a sixth gen.

I sold my 4th gen Camaro about 5 years ago and now I'm looking to get back in the Camaro game. I've decided on a 6th gen, mainly because I prefer the styling and interior. I'm looking for a 2SS, manual, and preferably blue in color. I'm just wondering if there is anything in particular that I should be looking out for while I'm looking at potential cars. Also, are there any options for tuning a 6th gen or are the ECMs locked down?

  • Cars on the used market near me seem to cost as much, if not more than, new cars.
  • Used cars - a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) by a decent mechanic is a good investment, Performance cars are sometimes abused.
  • As discussed in reviews, the trunk opening is rather small - cargo space isn't nearly as useable as it was in 4th gen. Camaros.
  • Most online sources claim '16-'18 having the most reported issues - ie; https://www.hotcars.com/sixth-gen-ch...e-buying-used/
Aside from that, I'm loving my 6th gen. I've seen a few tunes out there but without modifications, I'm not sure how worthwhile they are -- and they'd probably void a powertrain warranty on newer cars.
