Default dead battery

since my battery is dead and it's in the trunk, and since the trunk can only be opened with a good battery, what would one do? do I need to have the dealer tow it in?

I don't know much about the newer cars,no option to use a key anymore? That seems lame, what was GM thinking.
Is it possible to pull the back of the back seat out and get a jumper cable in there, just a thought.
Interesting delima.
Battery power has to go to the starter, maybe put a jumper cable directly to the starter battery cable?
