Clunking noise in rear

Clunking noise in rear

My 2018 RS V6 with 3,000 miles has developed a strange noise. Just as I come to a complete stop a slight "clunk" noise can be heard from the rear of the car. Any ideas?

clunk

my 2018 ss has the same noise. its not the rear end, its some type of electronic solenoid.
