2019 ss -v- 2020 ss
Hi Guys,
Thank you for accepting my membership to your group and I figure that somebody within the group will be able to answer this question. I am purchasing a 2019 SS Camaro here in Australia. I'm not a big fan of the blacked-out front grill. I am aware that Chevy is going back to the body colored paint scheme on the 2020 models. As far as I can tell, the 2020 model from bumper looks to be the same as the 2019's, with the exception that the blacked-out portion is now the same colour as the main body color. I'm hoping to just go ahead and repaint the black section on my white car and also thinking of maybe fitting a 2020 grill with the bow-tie emblem therein. Alternately, I could just retain the bow tie in its present location after repainting. I would be very grateful for any advice on this. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if anyone here has a 2020 but welcome aboard.
It's possible that your cars downunder may be a little different being export models, maybe you can check with the parts counter at the Chevy dealer
on parts interchangeability.
Looks like different models get different grilles as well.
