So I finally broke down and ordered the SS heritage badges. I ordered from LMPerformance. I will keep you posted on the install (If I can even call it an install).

 

BTW, anyone have tips on removing the bowtie front/back and the little SS's. Much appreciated. I havent looked yet, but research is always good.

 

The back badges look like they are both stickers, still working on the bowtie, but just goo gone and fishing line while the SS was still wrm and that came right off. The front bowtie has 4 tabs, and the SS has 2 tabs. I got the SS off and will wait till I get the parts for the bowtie. The SS center tab popped easy I could reach it through the grill, but the outside one I couldnt reach, so I popped the whole braket out which needed to go anyway. I just kindda pushed back on it and the whole thing came out, doesnt even look like it should stay in place.

Holy crap, I just pulled off $115 worth of SS emblems.

Opps!! there are holes back there.







Guess I might be getting the black stripe on the back after all. I will have to see once they come in. The site says you have to get the fitting for the front, but no mention for the rear.

 

I like the SS in the front.....hmmmmm

 

LMP says that the rear will cover the holes, we'll see.
