Help!! I recently had the weatherstrips come off of both quarter panel windows in my 2013 convertible. I am not sure when the first one came off but I have the second one. GM does not sell the weather strip by itself and said the entire window must be replaced. ~$300 for the part and and an hour and a half in labor per window. I am not handy enough to replace it myself so must have it done at a shop. I am wondering if anyone has had this happen and what they have done. Just seems crazy to me that a piece of weatherstripping would result in a several hundred repair. Also seems crazy to me that this would just come off out of no where. Any insights would be great.
