intake / exhaust
I want to add new performace intake and exhaust.
on intakes whats a good one they all seem to look the same and profess to do the same? or does it come down to buying the name ?
on the exhaust ive been doing a lot of youtubing what others have done. im looking for the good deep throaty agrressive tone that doesnt sound like a race car with the loud roar and popping with higher RPM's, but also dont want the drone in the car. also would like it to quiet down at highway speeds so that i can still talk and listen to the radio. ive also been told about turning off the AFM system, not sure about it as not sure i want to loose the fuel mileage.
any ideas would be great i really want to hear the car, stock sucks

its a fifth gen ill...
as for the intake im not really sure as far as what available for the fifth gens (i have a K&N) the exhaust i recommend corsa or borla (im not sure about corsa but borla has an adjustable muffler to dial in the sound) are you going to do a complete exhaust or just a cat back... ive also heard great things about american racing
