Default Intake or exhaust?

Hey guys, Just got a 2000 camaro (3.8), and ive got a little extra money in my pocket that im just dying to dump into the car. Ive got enough money for either a cold air intake, or a flowmaster exhaust, and I cant decide which one to go with. I would like the horsepower boost from the intake, but for some reason i can not stand the sound of the stock exhaust. What would you guys advise i go with?

id go with the exhaust, 2000 has a pretty good intake so your gains on the 3.8 is only going to be 8 or 10 hp switching to the cai.

Did you guys hear a noticeable difference in how the exhaust sounds once you put the flowmasters on?
