i have a 2011 v6/6spd manual. How much boost can my completely stock v6 handle? and will that be enough to outrun my granddad's mustang? I haven't pushed my car to the limit. i don't know what it will do yet, but i know that it won't touch my granddad's modded Roush. he runs high 11's on a 1/4 mile track. What do I need to upgrade if just bolting on a turbo won't do the job? I grew up with a dad who said boost was cheating. I don't know anything about the setup required for a turbo. all i know is big cams, bored out cylinders, more fuel, and more air. I can tear it apart and put it back together no problem, but what do I need to do this? and I'm pretty sure that NO2 is gonna void my warranty, so that's out. I've already talked to the warranty people, and if i have the turbo installed at the dealership it doesn't void the warranty.
