Question Recommendations for modding my Camaro V6

Hey everybody! This is my first post on here. I need some help modding my Camaro V6. I have a silver camaro with a black interior. I am going to be working with Ed Monfort (the creator of Ronaele Mustangs) on modding my Camaro. I know, I know, I'm working with a Mustang guy but he's really good at what he does. Anyways, right now he's helping me get some black rims with chrome lips from Boyd Coddington. He also says that I should put a racing stripe on it. I know there's a lot more he is going to tell me on Tuesday but I want to get your opinion on what i should do.

Thanks
Alex

Are you just wanting to do visual? Or are you looking into performance as well?

3.6 liter buddy, 3.6.

he's starting with almost double your power, and a whole lot more capabilities.

the new v6 seems to have a fairly decent block powering it. be interested to see what tuning you could all do with it.

Is it a 5th gen? I thought he was talking about a 4th hence why I asked "3.4 or 3800?"

LOL - it's in the 5th gen category, but since the "new posts" doesn't list that, it's hard to tell.

In any case, there are rumored to be supercharged vs. turbo kits out there (aka Jay Leno Camaro) that might get you to SS power without the insurance hassles. That being said, since the V6 isn't a known handler, I'd bet that the biggest "bang" for the buck would be suspension upgrades - that is, unless the only thing you care about is going in a straight line.

Yeah that had me confused. All it said was "v6" lol. So I could only assume it was a 4th gen. But good luck with modding that beast. Let us know what you do and what kind of HP you make outa it.

You will very little to nada from tuning the 3.6L so far, in fact most tuner companies are still working on V6 tuning like DiabloSport, who had this to say:
http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...72c510241ca620

"At this point, the V6 Camaro project is on hold until we have TCM support done, since there are no gains to be had from simply tuning the PCM on these things..."

Trifecta is the only tuner so far for 3.6Ls, AFAIK, it claims and increase of 24hp and 17tq for $400. Your best bet is a CAI like Injen (modest gains) & headers to start with, then maybe an axle-back exhaust...
