Well depending on where you are and how much you look, you can find a 1ss for under $30,000. What do you have now?

Panda, If you are looking for transportation...the LS will be a great car. If you like going to the drag strip, then look at the SS. I just got a LS and I am very pleased with the 312 HP from the V6 engine. Very smooth, and better than expected mileage from a tankful.

You know in all honesty i have been a 8 guy... this is actually the first time i went after the 6... i see a lot of potential in it.. especially considering that the 5th generation V6 has has 37 more horsepower than the 4th gen SS... I have gotten a chance to drive both and i decided on the LT... I love the car so far... and please don't buy an automatic... lol

lol I can't believe that I am getting a domestic, I used to talk so much crap about American cars, such as poorly made mustangs, over-hyped chargers and over-priced challengers. I looked at dozen Japanese and German cars at that price range and performance. But when I looked into Chevy, Camaro is abosolutley the best!
I am not American yet, but I love American. And I would love to represent this country with my car.
Now I just have to get rid of this effing toyota I have lol
