I am buying a pcd performance chip and It says its going to get me up to about 345 horse power. I need to know if this chip is bull **** or if its legit!??? here is the direct link to the website! please get back to me as soon as possible. Also I am buying the stage one and stage two of the pcd.

 

From their B.S....... eh, I mean description:
"The PCD Performance module simply wires into the factory harness of the IAT sensor.
The module will work with the sensor to provide a new signal to your vehicles ECU".
What the "chip" is, is a resistor that goes in line, between the ECU and the IAT (intake air temperature) sensor. What it does is fools the computer into thinking the incoming air is colder than it really is (like when your engine is cold). In turn, your fuel/air mix will get richened up (like when your engine is cold). So basically your engine will be running rich, but there's speculation that once the 02 sensors registers a rich condition, it will lean the system back down again. "up to 50 hp gain". You do realize that to get to 50, you start at zero? Save your money for something that really works, like fuzzy dice and a rabbits foot!

I m not sure and how can you purchase the original chip ?because my cousin have garage i m also looking my car's 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS V6

looking to some chips and more interior but not still success to find and this is also very famous car in top 10 muscle cars list.
