2010 Camaro Cam Phaser
I am looking for some information and help. I have a 2010 Chevy Camaro with a 3.6 l V6. The car has 96,000 miles on it and the timing chains were replaced once by the dealer at about 48,000 miles and the second time by myself at about 76,000 miles because of the dreaded rattle sound on startup. Within the last month or so I started getting the rattle on startup and the p0017 code exhaust cam timing not correlating with crankshaft sensor timing. Also I have noticed a growling sound from the exhaust on the left bank, driver side, telling me that it is probably out of time. I have not opened it up yet to find out if there's any damage inside but I suspect that the exhaust phaser on bank one is bad. I do plan on replacing all four phasers but I need to see if there's any other damage before I order parts.
What I am trying to find out is I've done a search and I come up with what looks like four options for phasers. GM original, Dourman, Cloyes and no name aftermarket. Are there any other options for all four phasers?
Thanks Joe

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. But I do have a 2010+ 3.6 l V6 and I hace noticed a little rattle under the car, but the dealer said it's normal on manual trans cars. Also, I only have 6300 miles. But this engine is complicated especially considering that it boasts 335 HP. Sorry for the joke. I am taking it seriously.
