Default somethong off about my first gear n clutch

Ok so I've noticed something weird. And I couldn't tell if its my clutch slipping or not grabbing my first gear right, but basically when I put it in first and just try to do a gradual acceleration and give it a little bit of throttle, I feel like a kinda violent shake in my steering wheel and I feel it thru the clutch pedal as well..is my first gear going out orrrr any clue on what it might be? Haven't taken it in the shop yet but I wanna figure out what it is so when I take it in

Is it a new clutch? Sounds like it might be clutch chatter.
Could just need broke in.
Or your flywheel may need re-surfaced.

No it's the same clutch that my cars had since I first got it. And it still runs like a beast. But the first gear worries me cause it shakes kinda hard. It's definitely been broken in though. How would I know if it needs resurfacing?

One more thing that link doesn't cover is if you ever overheated/cooked your clutch from slipping it too much under power, you could have created checks (cracks) on the surface of the flywheel. Oops, I've done that before, and it makes for a nasty chatter.

Thanks I'll check it out..un****infortunately, my clutch went out last night. Or at least I think JTS probably what you're saying. Cause when I put it in any gear and brought up the clutch it made a horrific chattering grinding noise my poor baby.
