Default won't start

My 2010 camaro will not start. came out one day turned the key, nothing. How do I know if it the clutch safety switch or the starter? everything else has power.

I do not know the new cars very well, but in most cases there are 2 wires going to the starter. One is the big one from the battery and there is a smaller one. If you get power in the smaller one and nothing happens then its the starter. If you are not getting power to the starter while trying to start it then it is something else. This would require someone to try to start the car with the clutch pushed in. That is not limited to the clutch safety switch. on modern cars I think there is a signal from the Body Control Module that need to power a relay and that is on cars built in 1996. You would need a schematic or a trouble tree to figure it out. I assume if the battery does not have enough voltage the system may not even try to start.

Check battery and connection first.
