I'm 6'6 with a wife and two small kids. I currently have a truck. I'm thinking about getting a 2012 or 14 Camaro. I just wondering will there be enough room for everybody.

 

Sorry I can't say for a 5 gen but I was in a 6th gen last month and there in no way a kid in or out of a car seat would fit behind me is a comfortable position. I am only 6'1. The front seat can go back far enough to touch the back seat.

Most chevy dealers will have a 5 gen in stock. Just stop by.

 

The back seat in most if not all Camaros is a joke.Its more or less a 2 door..And remember kids grow up. Maybe a 1978-87 G body .Malibu,Monte Carlo and their cousins would work better. Just a thought.

 

I know this is a few weeks old but let me chime in here. I have a 2012. My husband is 6 ft. It depends on your build. He's long waisted so he's taller from waist up. He has a hard time in my car. He positions the seat down and the back of it tilted back. There's not a lot of room in the back but we've had 4 adults in it plenty of times.

 

Take the family when you go shopping make sure everyone has enough room, being 6'2" I would say no it will not work as a family DD. We did DD our 83 Monte for a few summers and it worked fine with kids in back seat.
