Default When are the Camaros available?

I'm aware that many of you guys already have Camaros, but I only found... 6 new Camaros available within 50 miles of me (Los Angeles).

Do you guys know when Camaros will be stocked in Chevy dealerships like normal cars?

Probably some time after they've shipped to everyone who has one on order.

Or perhaps if someone cancels after it's already arrived; I've seen a 2LT/RS in a dealership that was sold until 2 hours before I got there. It's long gone now, of course.

december...at least for the dealership in gallup, nm...the sales manager is a family friend (and i just placed my order for a 2ss rs through them which should come in in about 6 months) and he told me that GM decided to not do inventories until december and that this dealership only got one through a raffle until december, which they didn't get to pick the color, model, options, transmission or anything about the car and it was pure chance...

they ended up selling the silver 2lt rs that they got within a few days and now it's only orders until december...

now granted, this information is about a dealership in gallup, nm, which has a population of maybe 30,000 so bigger cities might get larger initial inventory allocations (i live full time in albuquerque and went back to gallup to order mine to avoid big city hassle on price...i was not going to pay more than msrp) and in albuquerque just driving a few hours ago i saw a black one on the lot...couldn't tell what model or options but it was cool to see since mine is going to be black

and yeah the only other chance of finding one on a lot right now would be if someone canceled their order...which is possible and might increase in possibility in a bigger city like la than it does in gallup, nm lol...but even in gallup they have been selling the camaros like hotcakes...i have to wait for the dealership to even get monthly allocation from GM in order for mine to proceed from preliminary order status to being in the system ready to be built...long wait but in the end it will be worth it

hope this all helps though...happy hunting and congrats if you end up finding/ordering one!

and actually 6 new camaros on lots nearby seem like a lot to me right now (compared to the one allocated in gallup) ha ha...but unfortunately as i've noticed (well i say unfortunately because i was unwaveringly set on a manual 2ss rs) most of the camaros that they have on lots are automatics...

so if you happen to be set on a manual it might be a little harder yet
